St. Augustine and Chamblin’s

This past saturday, we took a quick day trip to St. Augustine.  Chloe found coupons for the Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum, so we decided to go. This was my first time going to the museum, and it was pretty interesting.  There were a lot of cool artifacts from around the world and some interesting oddities.

While driving in to St. Augustine, we saw that there was a Sea Food Festival going on.  It was pretty small, but had some fun craft booths to look at and some really great sea food! The lines were long, but it was worth it!

After the festival, we walked around St. George Street for a few minutes.  It’s my favorite part of St. Augustine and I love looking at the old buildings.

It’s so easy to get lost in all the rooms that they hang maps throughout the store. I went looking for old crochet patterns, but was disappointed with what they had, so I didn’t end up getting any.

I did, however, find more Alfred Hitchcock books.  I’ve read a couple over the past few weeks, and I love them! They are so easy to bring to work and I think the covers are really great!

This weekend, I also finished up the tops of the chair pads. There is still more work to do to make them in to cushions, but the crochet part is finished! I think they turned out pretty neat!

I’m really excited for these to be finished! I will definitely share pictures of the final products!
