It has been so long since I last blogged! I did not realize it had been over a month and February is almost over! So, I thought I’d catch you up with a little “what I’m doing now” update!

Reading: I have been reading a lot this month! I made it through several books, but a couple were really great! The first one that I really loved was Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald. I love F. Scott Fitzgerald. The Great Gatsby was my favorite book I read in high school, and I’ve read it several times since then. I knew a little about their marriage, but really enjoyed reading more about it. They had a glamorous, but very difficult life with each other.

I’ve also read several Neil Gaiman books. I read Stardust a couple months ago and thought it was great, so I decided to try Neverwhere. It was really good! It is about the unknown world of London’s Underground. There is a whole society of forgotten people who live out their lives under London. I love how Neil Gaiman is able to combine the worlds he creates with the real world in such a believable way! Plus, I really love the cover art of the newer books! I have several of his other books on my “To Read” list!

DSC_0073Watching: There are several shows I’m watching right now, but I’ve been pretty steadily making my way through Friends on Netflix over the past few weeks. I’ve seen many of the episodes before on TV, but have never seen the whole series through, and I love it. Chandler is my favorite! I was also very sad about the end of Parenthood this month. I have loved that show from the beginning and I am really going to miss it. I realized that I’ve forgotten so much that happened over the whole series that I think I might start it over.

Making: Volleyball season is in full swing and I started a new job this month, so I have not had too much time to work on crochet projects! One of my favorite things I’ve made this month is this doily from Mollie Makes Crochet! I love this book! There are so many pretty patterns that I want to try, especially that beautiful blanket on the cover. However, I don’t think I can realistically start another blanket when I have 3 unfinished ones sitting in my room!DSC_0091 DSC_0085I’ve also really wanted to do a craft show for a while, and I decided I want to try one in the next few months. I’ve been working to make items to sell in an upcoming craft fair! I’m really excited and hope it all goes well. Recently, I’ve been making a lot of flower garlands! I love them so much, and hopefully others will too!DSC_0020
