Tunisian Dishcloth

I tried another dishcloth from KnitPicks’ 52 Weeks of Dishcloths. ┬áThis one is the Sherbet Dishcloth and uses the Tunisian stitch. I’ve tried the Tunisian stitch once before, but wanted to give it another try. It came back to me quickly and I love the way the stitch looks! I like that it makes a thicker fabric┬áthat is sturdy and doesn’t stretch too much. It really is the perfect stitch for a dishcloth!

DSC_8201-001This stitch tends to curl as you work, but blocking it at the end worked for me. Mine was a little uneven at the bottom, but for being one of my first attempts at Tunisian crochet, I’m pretty happy with it!

I used KnitPicks dishie cotton and I love it! I only have a few colors, but one ball lasts so long I’ve been able to use it for many projects! KnitPicks also provides additional color combination suggestions for this dishcloth. I love all of them, but the third one is my favorite! I need to get my hands on that blue!
